A Review or Summary of European Electricity Statistics

Defining the European electricity consumption can be a difficult task. In electrical engineering terms, Europe is split into a variety regions overseen by regional governments. This makes consildation of facts, figures, and statistics difficult (if not impossible) to obtain. Tariff Statistics for Central/Eastern Europe is available, however, and can give a rough estimate to all of Europe's consumption. Unfortunately it cannot be downloaded for free. However, this region's electrical consumption accounts for about 70% of all electricity consumed in Europe. You can research the 20 largest European electricity generators to see what they are consuming.
